"DEWIE" THE TURTLE IS FTC'S ANSWER FOR WEB SAFETY
The US FTC is turning to a little cartoon turtle named
"Dewie" to teach kids to take precautions when they are on
the computer and surfing the Internet. The Dewie campaign
is reportedly part of the federal government's broad effort
to promote a "culture of security" and the view that every
person who uses computers and networks, such as the
Internet, has a role in keeping cyberspace safe.
